The Honorary Consulate General of Romania in Ohio invites you to a networking reception to highlight the Romanian movie “Ana, mon amour.”*
Selected to compete for the Golden Bear in the main competition section of the 67th Berlin International Film Festival, the movie depicts in a non-chronological manner the tumultuous journey of a couple battling mental illness and childhood trauma. Calin Netzer’s hectic close-ups, main characters’ fearless portrayal of their emotional and physical intimacy, and the elegant editing by Berlinale-winning Dana Bunescu, contribute to the honest representation of a dysfunctional relationship rooted in codependency and a storyline guaranteed to toy with audience’s sympathies.
Join us for a fun evening on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Flannery’s Pub located at 323 Prospect Ave E, Cleveland, OH 44115 at 6:30 PM.
** Free beer and pizza until 7 pm, so be there early! **
